Graduate Program in Energy

The Graduate Program in Energy (PPGE) is part of the Institute of Energy and Environment, at the University of São Paulo (IEE-USP) and offers interdisciplinary Strictu Sensu Courses leading to Master's and Doctoral degrees in the field of Energy.
The Program was originally established in 1989, as joint effort of four schools: IEE (then Institute of Elechtrotecnics and Energy), IF (Institute of Physics), FEA (Faculty of Economics Administration and Accounting), and EP (Polytechnic School). In 2014 after being restructured and renamed as Institute of Energy and Environment, IEE became the sole responsible for the management of the Graduate Energy Program, although maintaining its interdisciplinary character, open to faculty members of other USP schools, working on Energy.
